Am I truly ready to maximize my potential?
This is my little tale and commitment to transforming setbacks into true self development and connection. And a little laughter I hope. Sit relax, grab a snack and enjoy reading my diary. :)
Dear Diary,
I usually always start with a lengthy explanation about my whereabouts and I guess here goes. I have been hiding out, OMG! Bue I promise I am back with a vengeance. 2025 went exactly how I thought it would, which is great and equally bad. It was nature at some point to deeply meditate, watch my words and remember all the metaphysical tools to reach self awareness and enlightenment in my past. However this last year taught me one simple thing... watch my words!

What you do (meditation, taking a hike, reading books, starting a business etc) can definitely produce results, but what you say as a result of what you think becomes your reality regardless. Because of this, I have decided to take this month to create a new story line to maximize my potential and draw from my previous setbacks and share all that I've learned thus far and grow this here family and tribe of beautiful authentic beings, right here in my virtual home... And I plan to do all of this using positive re-framing. Mind, body, thought, spoken and written word! (If you're reading this and you're as nosy as I am, welcome. If you've been here, welcome back love!) I know better. I know that every one of us faces setbacks. They come uninvited, shaking our confidence and slowing our progress. #Triggers But what if these setbacks are not roadblocks, just data and the very content and resources needed to create from there? I have been learning a bunch in school and from my mentor about mental re-framing. As a CBT coach it's almost as though this should be a no-brainer, but I have noticed something deeper.
I’ve been diving deeply into new thought leaders and the science of positive psychology in school, and I absolutely love where this knowledge is leading me personally, professionally, and spiritually. Positive psychology, pioneered by scholars like Martin Seligman and Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, emphasizes that human beings are not just defined by their struggles but by their capacity for growth, resilience, and flourishing. As I continue to grow, evolve, and intentionally transmute negative patterns into more supportive ones in pursuit of my goals this year, it has become my mission to help others who are ready to do the same. #TRIBE #TrueFamily #DLT
I love the idea that you can transmute a thought that is not just 'poetic language'. It is supported by research on cognitive re-framing and neuroplasticity. Cognitive re-framing is a well established psychological process that involves identifying unhelpful thought patterns and consciously shifting perspective in a way that supports emotional regulation and mental well being. At the same time, research on neuroplasticity shows that the brain is capable of changing and reorganizing itself based on repeated thoughts and experiences. This means the thoughts we practice consistently can influence not only how we feel but how our brains are wired over time. Did you hear that?
Such a note to self that positive re-framing is a practice, an art, a language and a skill that helps you win at the game of life through literal enjoyment. Positive thinking is not about bypassing pain or pretending challenges do not exist because they damn sure do. It's about recognizing that there are levels to both positive and negative experiences and that both require intentional re-framing.
Research by Barbara Fredrickson shows that positive emotions expand cognitive flexibility, improve problem solving, and help build long term psychological resources. This supports the idea that cultivating constructive thought patterns is not just motivational language but a scientifically supported pathway to growth.
When I speak about the literal power of positive thinking, I am speaking from both lived experience and psychological science. Thought creation begins with awareness, continues through re-framing, and ultimately shapes behavior, emotion, and outcomes. This is the foundation of the work I am committed to doing in my life and business, and it is the same process I aim to support others in as they move from survival into intentional living. For me, this isn't optional anymore. Having a positive frame of thought is personal and the mission to get where I am trying to go! #NoteToSelf
Love ya, bye!
